Technology is taking over our lives. Today people are getting addictive with technology that basically does everything for them. Many adults have become addicted to technology and tend not to be able to function without it. Children of this new generation are more obsessed with this new era of technology than the children of my generation which makes their lives a lot easier. This modern technology has a major impact on our daily lives which causes lack of face to face interaction, childhood obesity, and the appreciation nature.

This modern technology has a big impact on our daily lives the way we function from day to day. With this technology people have become immune to it and are lacking face to face interaction with others. People no longer are interacting with one another instead they are using smartphones, computers, and iPad to interact with each other. People are not having these intimate conversations and personal interactions with each other anymore. People, instead, have turned to the Internet to take away some of the nervousness that some may find in trying to start a relationship with another person.

We as human beings are not communicating with people around us instead, we entertain the virtual world. People no longer have an easy time looking others in the eyes or communicating face-to-face because of the constant need for photos and status updates.

Technology has changed dramatically, and more and more people are relying on it on a day to day basic. Children of this new era are obsessed with technology which causes childhood obesity.

With this new technology children no longer pretend play which they make an object represent or symbolize something else. Children went from going outdoors to hang with friends to communicating by text, Facebook, Twitter and are staying up all night playing video games or watching tv till the next morning. Some studies have showed that technology is linked to child obesity where the children or adolescents are eating while viewing and are expose to high carbohydrates and low-nutrients foods. According to Layton, “The technologies that many believe are contributing to childhood obesity are the ones that encourage people to be still. For hours. Or days. They're the ones that have all but replaced games of neighborhood tag -- things like texting, watching television, surfing the Web and playing video games” (Layton.) These things do not burn calorie kids are not playing like they should outside getting the proper exercise they need to help reduce health conditions later in life and be children play outside that is their nature. Junk foods manufacturing companies have used the ability to target children and adolescents through social sites, video games, and cell phones apps in order to get their attention and have them or their parents purchase their products.

Technology is ruining nature. People know longer take drive down the old country roadside to appreciate nature to see all what God created and admired the view. Appreciate the love of nature have been taken away by the new modern technology. This new technology has caused many problems to nature. Some places in the world have been hit the hardest by technology which caused machines to produce chemicals into air which causes air pollution. Air pollution is mixture of solid particles and gases in the air.
