Story of Innocent Children

Categories: Lord Of The Flies

William Golding's masterpiece gives the reader a sense of excitement and shudder. The story told us a story about exploring the new world with children aged 6-13 years when the plane takes them to evacuate the war in an accident and falls on an uninhabited Pacific island. The children elected the leader Raph and began an independent, free life. However, the difficulties and deprivation on the deserted island with the disappointment of missing the opportunity to be saved ... made the conflict between the top two children increase.

The breathtaking fear of the reader begins when the children split into two camps: a Raph-headed leader with a routine, hoping to escape the uninhabited island by maintaining the fire. Meanwhile, the Jack-led faction returned to the wild lifestyle: drawing faces, hunting and making fun, and having many wrong actions. Conflicts culminate when Jack's faction kills fellow humans, pursuing Raph to take control …

A fictitious story, with a group of innocent children, is covered by a very soft, very large language of nature but led by William Golding with extreme, bare emotions with a system of metaphors, symbolic.

Even every character that William Golding portrays in the Lord of the Flies is very likely a metaphor. Imagine, Raph is a symbol of democratic spirit, Jack stands for tyrannical dictatorship, Piggy is a character of wisdom, Roger is a rebel, acting drawing on the faces of children by Jack, the leader of those children symbolizes the abandonment of human personality... And from there goes straight to the main image, the Lord of the Flies.

Lead the reader with fuzzy rumors about the beast, arguing between news and unbelief among the children, and the pilot getting stuck in the parachute, eventually, William Golding also lets its of the Flies appear with the head. Black mother pig blood stabbed on the pile with a smile that reminds them forever. Not the mysterious or supernatural beast that dominates the island, the Lord of the Flies is summoned from the children, from the depths of their hearts and actions. In the end, when evil prevails and is stimulated by blood, the pages become more and more horrifying and suffocating. In the end, Raph's group had no one, Piggy died tragically, two twin boys were forced to follow Jack's aggressive group and they burned the forest to chase and kill Raph by the crazy of them with blood. However, when Raph seemed to be killed, the officer who appeared, asked, 'is it fun to play?' The ending is full of very suggestive and condensed responses, making readers feel overwhelmed and obsessed, especially at the moment when Raph burst into tears, 'crying for the death of innocence and the dark side of humankind '. “The joke of the children only burns an uninhabited island and kills two children. What about the earth and humanity after the horrible atomic war millions of times?” People, people always, forever ready to kill people like what happened on the unknown island in the Pacific ocean because of their greed.

Set in the context of the book's birth, in 1954, just as humanity has just passed through the Second World War disaster, perhaps the Lord of the Flies is the proclamation, and at the same time, an intense protest of the author for a part of humanity likes to cause war. Since its publication, William Golding's The Lord oin f the Flies has been present in the literature at schools in England, the United States, and many European countries, as a testament to the intense vitality of this tragic novel. This is William Golding's first work. A series of well-known novels such as The Inheritors (1955), Pincher Martin (1956), Free Fall (1959), and The Spire (1964) are some of them that are highly appreciated in his writing. In 1980, the book of the To the Ends of the Earth trilogy expressed his passion for the theme of the sea and won the British Commonwealth Booker. In 1983, he received the Nobel Prize for Literature from the Swedish Academy. This was a surprise to the public because at that time the world-famous writer Graham Greene was considered the brightest candidate among British writers. A year later, William Golding published simultaneously in Britain and the United States The Paper Men novel which caused very different assessments from public opinion. In 1988, he was knighted by the Queen of England.
