The Salem Witch Trials were a dark time in American history, since innocent individuals were hanged.

Twenty individuals were hanged because of villagers accusing them of practicing witch craft. The Salem Witch Trials occurred in Salem, Massachusetts. This began in the winter season of 1692 and after that ended in the fall of 1693. Individuals were killed since the villagers' thought in witch craft and witches.
