Wuthering Heights is a novel by Emily Brontë. It is the story of two lovers, Heathcliff and Catherine, who are separated by class differences and forced to live apart for years before their love can be reunited. The novel explores themes of love and loss, revenge, social class and betrayal.
The book was originally published in 1847 under the pseudonym Ellis Bell but was later revealed by Charlotte Brontë as being written by her sister Emily.
