Peter Lindsay Weir and all the people who do their best to

Categories: Society

Peter Lindsay Weir and all the people who do their best to produce this movie never disappoint the public viewer especially me. To be honest, I'm not that kind of person with passionate interest in cinema but this movie is excellent. It has a lot of learning and values we can get with. The film explores the complexity of human under stressful similar conditions in our society today. Our method of teachings and system of education has similarities in the movie.

We followed the curriculum given by our institutions while in the movie they followed their school four pillars - Tradition, Discipline, Honor and Excellence. As we can see nowadays, schools still uses the orthodox believe, it is a believe that traditionally accepted a thing that is right. Another is the parental pressure, student forces to get high grades and simply followed their parent's will and likes without knowing it is against on their rights. Students cannot take a chance to freely decide their desires and to pursue what their heart says.

" Welton's Academy is all regarding the politics of dominance and management.

According to Reflective thinking "Generic conventions border on the iconoclastic, alternative realities and cultural incompatibilities abound, and numinous yearnings challenge staid conventionalities." This description is in line with the story and themes of Dead Poets Society, within which iconoclasm is at the forefront of the film's central conflict, the formation of the club within which students assume and make on their own and for themselves.

The elements from the scenes, the character's portrayal, the settings and the story, the overall package was very eloquent to the audience. Even though there are some critical responses like Ebert described the film as an often poorly constructed "collection of pious platitudes ... The movie pays lip service to qualities and values that, on the evidence of the screenplay itself, it is cheerfully willing to abandon (Wikipedia 16). Yes, for me the ending was not clearly stated and the justice for everyone was not being showed and explained but it is part of the movies to give a questionable and vague ending so that the movie will be remembered and to give an impact and have a twist to movies.
