Moreover, in the passage character George, who is also gifted individual now abide and covered in many devices to hide his gift can actually reason better than his wife who isn't handicapped because she is not the gifted one. George completely understands the implications of this handicap “equal society or just myth” where not everyone is truly equal even with the handicaps. Despite, the imprecise noises coming from his handicap radio after every twenty second, George was able to think and reason more than his wife Hazel.

George uses vague notion to say that the dancers shouldn’t be handicapped as it hides their true capabilities of what they can do and if they had their full capability the dance would have been outstanding and beyond expectation.

In this story, Harrison persistently outgrowing his tremendous handicaps quicker than government can recreate them. In addition, he also plans to overthrow the handicap government and society with his gifted abilities so no more gifted people can suffer the way he does. A constant struggle with handicapped government and society to be able to think on their own for just a short time and then lost in translation again and failing to think more proving again that “equal society is just a myth and not reality”.

Toward the end, the character Harrison Bergeron plots to topple the handicapper General and her administration by escaping from prison. Harrison continues to a TV studio where ballet performers are performing to declare his revolt to the remainder of the society by ripping off his handicaps and therefore the handicaps of the remainder gifted individuals in studio. Harrison began to show the delights of having gifts while dancing with ballerina. Soon, the Handicap General herself storms the studio and murders the ballet dancer and Harrison in a flash. Orders the orchestra to put on their handicaps promptly or they were to be slaughtered too. All this time the Harrison family Hazel and George are observing this action unfold on TV concerning their son. When Harrison is shot and dead, Hazel begins to cry then just immediately she stops yet can't recollect why she was crying. In this, author points out that even the parents of the killed young son can't even grieve. These events demonstrated that genuine feelings have not been grasped or perhaps able to take affect fully. If the grief can’t be grasped, will love? In this disabled society “can equality exist or is just myth?”

All people can't really be equal or are able to grasp, express or have the option to communicate their feelings and emotions to pass on their very distinctiveness.
