Jonathan Livingston Seagull is a seagull who is bored with the daily routine of flying, eating and sleeping. He longs for something more and sets out to find it. He meets other seagulls who tell him that he is wasting his time and that he will never be able to fly like they do. Jonathan doesn’t give up though, and through his hard work and dedication, he learns to fly better than any other seagull. He also learns that the more he flies, the happier he is.
