Fly Away Peter is a novel by David Malouf, first published in 1982. It won the Australian Book of the Year Award in 1983.
The novel is set in Queensland, Australia, during World War I. It tells the story of two young friends, Jim and Ash, who enlist in the Australian Imperial Force and are sent to the Western Front.
