As I will prove in this essay, in my perspective, the American Dream is still alive because the employment in the past few years has contributed to prosperity in the United States. The American Dream was coined by the Great Depression. The American Dream was coined by James Truslow Adams, who wrote that the American Dream “is a dream of a land in which life should be better and wealthy for everyone, with an opportunity to have an ability or achievement or circumstance of birth”.

Many advocates say that the American dream is dead, but it is still alive according to liberalists. The Great Recession inequality has achieved prosperity.

The American Dream is not over because it claims that the American dream is over for a good reason. It says that society is unfortunate. The government is out of control, robs every citizen, and preventing achievement of the American Dream.

People that are politicians of a party or belief that can make their life better than dreaming, people like monotheism, which can never be unfortunate.

The American Dream in America is the belief that anyone, regardless of where they are born or what class they were born into, can attain their version of success in a society where upward adaptability is possible for everyone. The American Dream is accomplished through sacrifice, risk-taking, and hard work. In 1931, James Truslow Adams was the first person to define the American Dream. He used the novel of the book called Epic of America. The book was written by James Truslow Adams and made other books like the March of Democracy, the Living Jefferson, and the Adams family.

Adam had a dream of motor cars and high wages of social order in which man and woman shall be able to attain the fullest status of which they are innately capable and be recognized by others for what they are, regardless of the fortunate circumstances of birth or position.” The American Dream is the charm of anticipated success. A French historian, Alexis de Tocqueville created a book called Democracy in America. He studied American society in the 19th century. The charm had drawn millions of immigrants to the U.S.

Another historian, Emily Rosenberg identifies five parts of the American Dream. They are belief that nations should replicate America’s development, faith in a free market economy, support for trade agreements and foreign direct investment, promotion of free flow of information and culture, and acceptance of government protection of private enterprise. The American Dream was made by setting a conduct to prosperity, peace, and opportunity. There are three factors of the American Dream that make it possible, the United States has a large landmass under one government, America has benign neighbors, and abundant natural resources that feed the U.S. commerce. The United States is an example of how natural resources boosted the economy and gave the nation a head start toward gathering its present global position.

The American “melting pot” generates more innovative ideas than a small, similar population would. America’s success may also be assigned in part to having the benefits of cultural diversity. The Declaration extended the dream to white property owners. The idea of inalienable rights was powerful that laws were added to extend the right to slaves, women, and non-property owners. The American dream changed the course of America itself.

In 1920, the American Dream had started to create a better life for the desire to acquire material things. It was described in the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, The Great Gatsby. The character Daisy Buchanan cried when she sees Jay Gatsby shirts, and she never saw a shirt like that before. The version of the American Dream was not attainable. The dream of the Great Gatsby was “an orgiastic future the year before it recedes us.”
