Suggest the solutions the government can approve to prevent use of drugs by young adults. During adolescence and young adulthood, persons are most likely to begin to abuse drugs. Adolescents use such drugs for various purposes, containing an effort to deal with difficulties or do better at school, the need for new experiences, and the basic pressure of peer. Adolescents are "biologically wired" to search for the latest opportunities, take risks, and carve out their personalities. Trying medications will fulfill all such natural behavioral impulses, but this can have very severe long-term consequences in a harmful manner.
Moreover, gives detail information about the problem of drug usage and provides better solutions or prevention.
Addiction to the drug has become an issue worldwide, mainly among youngsters. Some young individuals become dependent on substances of different forms and stimulate drugs that come hand in hand with a narcotic effect. In all ways, the life of abusers is corrupted when they lose connection with their families & live in their world.
They invest a lot of money on cocaine & then search for methods of unlawfully earning money. Drugs have many dangerous consequences. The most disturbing thing regarding addiction to a drug is that individuals are getting hooked to all kinds of drugs in various countries of the world. There are various kinds of illicit drugs, like cocaine, alcohol and heroin (Singh & Gupta, 2017).
The increasing rate of drug usage has always been an issue & is having adverse effects on society. Family and personal issues often contribute to drug abuse by young people who don’t handle personal issues.
It can be daunting to survive the acute effects of drug abuse, and that is why the abuser must care for their disease. The worst thing is that opioids are influencing young people in every nation in the world. The word medication implies not only medicine but also lethal drugs of different configurations. Such drugs affect the users ’ mind and body cells with their bad effects.
Mass media ads are the first way of tackling the issue. Most often, such initiatives are directed at improving substance usage practices by showing negative effects on use, beneficial results on non-use, shifting perceptions on the frequency of use or the kinds of individuals who use it, & through drug resistance abilities. Advertising outlets may contain the use of advertisements, magazines, radio, & TV, and partnerships with the industry of entertainment, interactive media, and music videos. This group of preventive strategies also involves raising pro-drug marketing messaging (Allara, Ferri, Alessandra, & Gasparrini, 2015).
Another way to solve the problem is parental preparation, counseling, and management of the case. This category contains attempts to change practices of family management or to develop skills of parenting by teaching or guidance. Such exercises also give parents strategies to track or manage their kids, improve emotional attachment, support their kids succeed in school, or otherwise help their kids in developing competencies and skills that will be required to avoid the use of the drug. Management of family case contains a range of monitoring & prevention procedures that help families in need of care (J, 2018).
The use of mass media strategies in the treatment of opioids is both fairly common and not without criticism. All policymakers and clinicians have been hotly debating the efficacy of such programs to reduce drug use or desire to use by young people. Mass media public health programs disseminate health information, or risks to it, to convince people to adopt behavioral changes. These are typically introduced through TV and radio, ads in newspapers or magazines, banners, and road posters. They can also use the Internet, SMS, and E-mail (Chakravarthy, Shah, & Lotfipour, 2013).
Addiction to drugs is a difficult disease arising from several factors, including genetic predisposition, a history of domestic violence, and tension. Learning the root cause of drug dependence is one of the best ways to improve recovery programs and addiction of drug results in the future. Several individuals don’t know when individuals are drug addicts and illicit drugs. They wrongly perceive drug abuse as a social issue and stereotype the abuser as a weak individual. Although there is no scientific proof of how precisely drugs work in the brain, they may be treated effectively to support people to stop drug addiction.
