After watching the film The Bright Star I personally didn't enjoy the film. I love watching romantic movies but this one was just not my cup of tea. The movie was written in 1818 so most of the acts were older and not modern like our films currently. Both of them met during the winter of 1818, John was in his early 20s and she was still a teenager.

The film also captures the beauty of nature in its creation showcasing love. John wants to remain steadfast and immutable with his love for the star but without being separated.

John wanted to live forever with his love in the movie. The movie has a lot of old famous tales and acts which people like me as the younger generation did not grow around. This also was a reason I didn't connect with the movie as much because I didn't enjoy old films I like it more modern which the movie wasn't really. I would recommend this movie to someone who likes watching old romantic films.

This movie has a strong connection with love and transformative which was something I enjoyed about the movie. Another thing I enjoyed about the movie was How it also has a poem connected to it. It made me look at the poem and movie differently. I recommended this to someone who likes older films and old romantic movies because younger people won't understand what is going on in the movie. The acting in the movie was spot on and draws the audience in but like I said I just couldn't keep watching because the tone and theme of the movie weren't working with me.

The movie was released in 2009 which wasn't too far ago but it still had its true old feeling which made you think the movie was filmed in 1818.

What I liked about the movie was that they used more modern known actors at the time to draw the audience in to watch. If you enjoy watching Abbie Cornish, Paul Schneider, and Kerry Fox those are some of the actors who play their roles well in the movie. My final say about this film is that John does a good job capturing nature And love in his film during the time. I just feel that's this movie won't get people's attention in this generation because of how old the film scenes are. This will attract older and middle-aged people because they understand the meaning of the movie more than we do as the younger generation. The whole concept of the play and poem was a great lesson and had great morals that we as people need to know in today's society. I recommend people to watch this even though I didn't like it because it has great lessons and the morals we should all learn to have. I say watch it for the experience you may end up loving it yourself.
