In this day and age there are so many addictions in the world, that we overlook one of the worst. Of course, we have drugs, we have alcohol, and many others similar to these. But we often take for granted an increasing addiction, mostly among young adult men. The world wants us to believe that it is just another form of art. It first came about when painters and sculptors brought the human form into existence. And has grown from what was once just women in bathing suits called pinup girls to women totally nude laying with other women while touching each other.

By now you probably know what Im talking about, yea thats right PORN.

Year after year PORN gets worse and worse. Just like anything else these days. We as a nation become more accepting to things that are wrong because we figure why fight it. We hear people say, "its none of my business what they do" or theyll say something like, "they have the right to do what ever they want.

Also at UCLA two researchers studied the impulse among "normal" university men. They asked hundreds of male students if they would rape a woman knowing they wouldnt get caught. More than fifty percent said "Yes." With very little restraint pornographers are able to produce and sell erotic depictions of rape, murder, and torture.

Knowing this, I feel that the worse pornography gets and the more we sell the more violent crimes we allow. But like we say "its none of my business if he rapes her, he has the right to do what he wants." Well it is are business if we do not stand up for whats right who will.

Let me tell you a true story about a young boy who came upon pornography at the age of twelve or thirteen and ruined his life forever. He first discovered dirty magazines in a dump near his home and became instantly captivated. As time went on he became more and more addicted to violent images in magazines and videos. He enjoyed seeing women being tortured and murdered. When he tired of this there was only one place his addiction could take him and that is from fantasy into reality. He learned to lure women into his car by various forms of deception. He then enticed her or pushed her into his car where she was taken captive. He molested these women until his passion of rage wore off and then he would kill them. This went on for years before being apprehended. But not before he had taken the lives of twenty eight women and girls. Finally he was convicted and sentenced to death for killing a twelve year old girl and dumping her body in a pigsty. This man was known as Ted Bundy up until his electrocution in the chair.

This story about Ted Bundy and the other reasons I stated earlier are mainly why I feel that pornography should be banned all together. Everyone knows about soft-core pornography like Playboy. But did you know there are depictions of child molestation, simulated murder, homosexual violence, sex between women and animals, sex with the dead, and many others in hard-core pornography. You might hear someone say that Playboy really isnt that bad, and they may be right, but that is where it all begins.
