Ted was born in Burlington Vermont and moved with his mother to Seattle in 1951. Ted grow up in a working-class family. Bundy was good in school but not with his peers. Bundy graduated from University of Washington with a degree in psychology in 1972.

Later, he had been accepted to law school in Utah.

It all started in the state of Washington in 1974, Lynda Healy who was Ted's first victim, went missing. After a few days Lynda not showing up for work, Seattle state police started a crime scene search.

Lynda's room was neat and no signs of anything unlawful behavior. They had found blood on her pillow and head area of her bed. June of 1974, another young woman went missing in Seattle. Georgann Hawkins was last seen on a Monday evening. She was walking back through an alley to her house, very close from where Lynda Healy lived. There was no unusual evidence at the scene. Almost every month in or around Seattle, a young woman starts to disappear.

Donna Manson had disappeared from Evergreen State College, Susan Rancourt had disappeared from the campus of Central Washington State College, Roberta Parks disappeared from the Oregon State University, and Brenda Ball was last seen at a tavern in Burien. The Seattle police department doesn't know where these girls are disappearing to because they had no suspect. July 14th, two other women went missing and some eyewitnesses gave information for the police to sketch and image. They said they have been asked by a good looking man wearing an arm cast to help load his boat in a near parking lot.

The same day a couple of women saw Janice Ott being approached, while on a beach. Witnesses say the man was driving a light brown Volkswagen Bug and had heard the man introduce himself to Janice as "Ted". Elizabeth Kloepfer who was Ted's lover at the time, had recorded to the police about suspicion. She had found a bag of women under clothing and had found a knife in his right front seat of his car. Liz's description about was the same age, same car, very similar physical description. Seattle police finally had their first suspect. One-night police was in an undercover police car and sat all night long listing to a radio to see any movement of Ted's car. Police had no fingerprints, no eyewitness, they had no evidence to charge him with.

Ted had move to Utah to study law school and went to church to get his life straight.

All of a sudden, Melissa Smith was reported missing. Melissa had left her father to meet a friend at a restaurant and never returned home. After a few days the found Melissa's body in the woods of Summits County, strangled and beaten to death. In 1974 there was two other disappearances in the state of Utah. Nancy Wilcox vanished after leaving her house, Laura Aime also vanished and was later found in the Wasatch Mountains. On November 8th, it was a Friday night. Carol DaRanch deiced to go to the mall and as she was looking around a man came up to her, he had said that he was a police officer. He had told Carol that someone was trying to break into her car, They went to her car to see if anything was missing. The police officer said they have this man down at the station and asked her if she had time to come down. The officer drove a light brown Volkswagen. They were driving on a side street and the stranger had pulled over at an elementary school. He had pulled a gun out and hand cuff's and said to Carol "I'll blow your head off." She suddenly escaped and started running towards a car that was driving passed. She hopped in the moving car and had asked them to take her to the police station. The stranger was so angry, he drove somewhere else and killed someone else. Four hours later, Debbie Kent was attending a play at her high school. she had left the school to pick up her little brother and she never got to her car. In the parking lot of the school, police had found a handcuff key. The key fit in the hand cuffs that Carol had on. Back in Washington state, the police station had found bodies on Taylor mountain. The police had found the skill of Brenda Ball, they had also discovered one hundred feet from each other the remains of three other women. They had found the remains of six missing girls, just a few miles away they had found two other missing girls. Janice Ott and Denise Naslund, who had vanished from the same place, Lake Sammamish State Park. Police had said that the girls that were found were killed from the same person Ted."

Throughout Colorado there was also a problem with missing and murder young women.

On January 12th of 1975, Caryn Campbell had disappeared from the Wildwood Inn. She was on vacation with her finance and his kids and had vanished. Days later her body was found nude, three miles away from the Wildwood Inn. Two more women had gone missing from Colorado.

One-night undercover police had seen a very suspicious vehicle and tried to stop it. The vehicle ran and tried to get away, finally the policer stopped the vehicle and had arrested the driver. The driver was identified as Ted Bundy. Police checked his car and had found a brown gym bag inside there was a ski mask, and ice pick and some strips torn sheets. There was also women underwear, handcuffs and a pry bar. Ted also matched the description, who had tried to kidnap Carol Daronch. The police had called Carol to come down to look at ted in a lineup. When ted was scheduled for the lineup, he had changed his whole appearance. Carol had reorganized Ted as he walked in. Ted was charged with attempted kidnapping of Carol Daronch.

Later Ted was charged for the murder of Caryn Campbell. Police had found through a search warrant a brochure advertising the Wildwood Inn. Then police got Ted's gas slips and they could place him within a few miles of Caryn Campbell. In Aspen, Colorado, ted was scheduled for a preliminary hearing. While taking a recess ted was in the back of the library in the courtroom doing research and then all of sudden someone from the first floor had said someone had jumped out the window from the second flood. Six days after escaping the courthouse they had found Ted in the woods of Colorado and is back into custody, Bundy was facing new charges from escaping. Ted was in prison and on trial for the murder of Caryn Campbell. That evening a guard gave him food and the next morning the guard saw that his food was uneaten. He walked over and had seen Bundy in his cot, asleep. When he went into his sell and took off the covers where ted was supposed to be all there was a pile of books and no Bundy to be found. He had hacked the ceiling and climbed through, Ted was successful and had escaped. 12-year-old Kimberly Leach who was Ted's last victim. On February 9th, she had gone to school earlier that morning and then was reported missing. Forty-six days of Ted escaping prison, he had traveled to Florida. February 15th, police arrested this 31-year-old man after a high-speed chase. The man gave police a fake driver's license and he had admitted that the id was phony. He was order held without bond by a circuit court judge that morning after the man refused to identity himself. He was charged with possession of stolen credit cards and a stolen car. Ted had called his girlfriend Liz and had told her that he was in custody in Florida.
