Under Walmart’s warehousing chain enterprise called Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), manufacturers became responsible for managing their own products in Walmart’s warehouses. Wal-Marts warehousing system is very impressive, however; there is always room for improvement, improvements can be made to make things better and more efficient. By taking complete use and improving all available space, rather than expanding the layout of Wal-Marts warehouses, it could be beneficial to look at using all space that is available, including the space that is up in the air, that is just empty air space.

You can do this by adding taller storage racks and having the right equipment to pick and store materials, this can help you by not having to expand or use more money on additional storage, This will allow Wal-Mart to save money, and they can utilize the money in other areas that are needed.
