I choose this book The Richest Man In Babylon by George S. Clason because it sounds interesting and fun to read. It has sold over millions of books. To me, that sounds like a classic. My dad likes books on money management and recommended it to me.
I like saving up my money because it's a good thing to do. It helps me know that as I get older the more you save the better you are off in the future.
This book will help me learn how to do this through the stories in it. I have learned through the self-reliance class to save at least 20% of everything that you earn and when hardships happen, it won't be as scary.
I hope to learn a lot from this book and look forward to reading it. This book talks about a wealthy man in Babylon then everyone and there's another man that wants to know how to begin and how to be rich like him.
The wealthy man is open to keys and tricks on how to start the progress. The first way is to save up and start your own investment. The author of the book has made quite a bit of books and his most popular book is called Seven cures to a lean purse.
The best way that we can increase our money is by; investing our own money and saving up every penny that we have. We can do this by striving to do our very best and to never give up and to strive for ourselves.
There are many things we can learn in our own lives and to make ourselves well rounded.
In the book it says: "Who would believe there could be such a difference in results between following plan and just drifting along. Where the determination is, the way can be found". But in those bitter days, I remembered thy confidence in me, my father. Thou hast sent forth to become a man, and this I was determined to accomplish, "The mother buried her face and wept softly". This shows me that Heavenly Father has a plan for us. He has given us so much confidence and to never give up even in the hardest times of life. He is there to help us on this journey in life and how to become a better friend and person.
I really like the quote by Ezra Taft Benson, it reads Who does God's work will get God's pay, However long may seem the day, However weary be the way. No mortal hand, God's hand can stay, He may not pay as others pay, In gold, that perish and decay; But God's high wisdom knows away, And this is sure, let come what may. What does God's work will get God's pay.
I like this quote because it talks about how much the Savior has done for me and my family. I'm very grateful for the grace which he has given me to change and become the person I am today and am glad to know that he will continue to support me and help me change for the rest of my life. I look forward to the day when I can stand before him in the flesh and embrace him. I know that my redeemer lives and that he constantly reaching out to each of us to help us find joy and return to the presence of God forever.
