The Selfish Giant is a children’s story about a giant who doesn’t want to share his garden with the children who play in it. He build a wall around it to keep them out. One day, a little girl named Sarah climbs over the wall and into the garden. The giant is angry at first, but he soon realizes that Sarah is different from the other children. She is kind and gentle, and she loves the flowers and the animals in the garden. The giant begins to love her too, and he tears down the wall so that the children can play in his garden again.
