Immanuel Kant was a German philosopher who is considered to be a central figure in modern philosophy. Kant Argues that the human mind is the source of knowledge and that knowledge is a product of the human mind’s faculty of reason. He also argued that the mind is a priori, meaning that it is not affected by experience. Kant’s work is often seen as a response to the skepticism of René Descartes.
