Piscine Molitor Patel (Pi)

Pi is the protagonist of Life of Pi, a novel by Yann Martel. He is a young Indian boy who is on a journey of self-discovery. He is a devout Hindu, Muslim, and Christian, who finds himself stranded in the ocean with a zebra, hyena, orangutan, and a Bengal tiger after a shipwreck. Richard Parker

Richard Parker is a Bengal tiger who becomes stranded on a lifeboat with the main character, Pi, in the book Life of Pi. Despite initially being afraid of him, Pi learns to coexist with the tiger over the course of their ordeal at sea.
