The city’s cathedrals are also worth visiting. Its Notre Dame de Paris and the Basilique du Sacre-Coeur receive 12 million and eight million visitors per year, respectively. A vacation in Paris is not complete without the visit of their local restaurants to taste the authentic French cuisine.

Paris is known for culinary finest, owing to the diverse influence of inhabitants (Dillon & Herbach, 2008). The 19th organization of the railway system allowed Paris to accumulate cooking influences from rich gastronomical culture. Frequent travelers to Paris advise to wake up early and not to skip breakfast as this is the most delicious meal of the day in Paris.
