Some of the alternatives that are being developed at least in the United States is in the manufacture of cars. Currently, a few laws directed at auto factories are being approved to control and regulate immediately the gases that are released in cars due to combustion. Another alternative to improve the environment that in the last 10 years is taking place in Puerto Rico and in many parts of the world is recycling. Even in Puerto Rico, many recycling campaigns are being carried out, cleaning beaches, residential ones, recycling in homes, among others.

In regard to air pollution also another alternative that has been implemented in the United States is the closure of factories that did not comply with the rules set by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) for its acronym in English. Related to water pollution, one of the alternatives that can be implemented is to improve water filtering processes so that water that reaches the rivers and seas does not arrive with so many pollutants and wastes.
