Location Where The Beatles Formed

The Beatles started in Liverpool in 1960. At first, the band was named The Quarrymen which was formed by John Lennon in March 1957 when he was 16 years old. 2 months after that, exactly 6 July 1957 Lenny’s friend (Ivan) invite Paul McCartney to join their band. In the next year, McCartney’s friend joined The Quarrymen, George Harrison. In 1960, Lenny’s friend Stuart Sutcliffe joined The Quarrymen as a Bassist. Stuart is a man who offers to change the band name.

The Beetels, The Beatlas, Johny and the Moondogs, Long John and the Beetles, and The Silver Beatels, until they deleted the Silver words and finally the name is The Beatles in August 1960.

Actually The Beatles didn’t have any symbol like picture with meaning or any other, the logo just as simple as The Beatles word with the “drop T design” created by Ivor Arbiter in 1963. After negotiating with Beatles band manager Brian Epstein, he quickly goes to the store and search for a drum kit for Ringo Starr in 1963 and quickly drew the Beatles logo to the store owner. Actually “Beatles” is not a word. It’s just a mix of the words “Beat” (rhythm) and “Beetle” (insect). Those names are found when John Lennon had asleep and dreams about it.

Fun fact, the logo is just bought for five pounds, because they weren’t famous at all.
