In Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury masterfully depicts a dystopian society where the prevalence of violence is alarmingly high. The society in this novel is characterized by mass conformity, censorship of books, and the glorification of superficiality. These factors create a culture of violence that is pervasive in the society. The first factor that contributes to violence in Fahrenheit 451 is the suppression of free thought and expression. In a society that censors books and suppresses individual expression, people are denied the opportunity to learn and grow intellectually. As a result, the emotional and psychological needs of individuals are not fully met.
