Hermes is a Greek god and the son of Zeus and Maia. He is the messenger of the gods and is known for his speed and cunning. In Greek mythology, Hermes is also associated with commerce, thieves, and travelers. He is often depicted wearing winged sandals and carrying a caduceus, a staff with two snakes coiled around it.
