The Exodus is a Biblical story where Moses leads the Israelites out of Egypt.
When God told Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, he said, "I will take you to the land I swore to give your ancestors. I will send an angel in front of you."
And so they left Egypt. They traveled through the wilderness for forty years, until all of those who had lived in Egypt were dead.
Once they arrived at Mount Sinai, God spoke to the Israelites from within a cloud and gave them their laws. He also gave them his Ten Commandments, which are still very important today—you can find them in Exodus 20:1-17!
