There are many advantages of working with female supervisors in an organization. The woman-friendly managers’ help in increasing the performance, making most effective and informed decisions and the equal rights and opportunities are facilitated to all the members. A female supervisor can prioritize problems and manage situations at the workplace with the same direction as at home. Woman are usually skilled at multitasking and capable of handling things in a proper way. Based on my experience, female supervisors are mostly considered to be friendlier, empathetic and have better communication skills.

They have the abilities to create effective and healthy relationships with colleagues, assistants and even the top-level people (HR in Asia, 2016). Female supervisors will acknowledge and understand their start performers’ efforts and they can recognize smart workforces and provide rewards as per company policies.

Female supervisors will have an unfortunate tendency to become jealous and backbiting overtime. They might hold or even push fellow female down in order to secure their job because it’s so critical for women to get success in the business.

It is very challenging to deal with female bosses if she is was tired, under stress and frustrated (Cupac, 2014). In my company, my team leader is a female. She used to motivate us, appreciates individual and teamwork, encourage, and giving feedback when I made mistakes. If she is under stress or frustration because of any other matter, she used to fire on the entire team and communicate very hardly that influence all the team members’ behavior.

Pros and Cons of working with Male supervisors:

People mostly prefer work with male supervisors or bosses because they provide an effective working environment, allow individuals to reach their goals and objectives, and they facilitate greater liberty to the workforce than the female bosses. The male supervisors mainly focus on the employee performance (Kumra, Simpson, & Burke, 2014). They seem to be less involved in gossip in the workplace, they tend to give a lot of support and value others feelings and situations based on their explanation. Being a boss, his responsibility is to support employees and understand situations in a proper way. The male boss is assertive and less brainstorming and focuses on work. Male supervisors are the firm decision-makers and they can provide a realistic resolution to the concern.

Disadvantages of having male supervisors including increased stress, lack of collaborative effort or inclusion leave others feeling bossed around. There seem to be less emotional handlers that mean they are unable to control their emotions like angriness they would show their authority if they are under stress.
