Literature plays a vital rule in criticizing the society and people, it can make us more aware and distinguish good from bad and bad from good. Also, with the help of literature and writers we can know the negative and positive sides of people and society to avoid bad things or do good ones.

Satire is one of the most affective literary devices on our life, it's a literary device used by writers or poets to expose and criticize stupidity and corruption of a single figure or a complete society, by using humor, irony and ridicule.

It aims to develop the mentality of the society and individuals. How can a writer use satire? He directs his critic opinion to a specific person, certain class of society or the whole society, in the image of a fictional and unreal character. He talks about its negative aspects in a way to teach people that it's untrue and it often has comic themes when used to make fun of someone.

Here we have some examples of how we use satire in literature and writing. First, if someone wants to criticize the president or the ruling class, he brings a master character that doesn't exist or a president from another country, shows its negative ways of thinking and ruling indirectly in some lines of a poem or a story.

Second, if the ruler of any country notices that the citizens have some negative and unacceptable behaviors, and he has literature taste, he can criticize them indirectly in a poem or any other form.

If he doesn't have the ability to write literature, he can use another one instead of him to express what he wants to say to his people.

Another way of using satire is to present the negative sides of youth age to show youths what should they avoid and what to pay attention for, by publishing a book or a novel simulates their ways of thinking and intellectual changes to raise their awareness about misconducts that harms the whole society as they are one of most influential age group in society.

As Palestinians writers under the siege and occupation, and none of the arab countries or arab president care about the horrible harm that we are suffering from because of Israel and its crimes, we only have the pen and literature to response the whole word for keeping silent and not to help us get rid of the occupation, by satiring them in poems or stories and posting them on twitter, Facebook and other social media sites to reach our Palestinian issue for as many people as possible and to reach our voice for those who doesn't do anything to help us.

To conclude, literature is a very important tool for us to present our modern issues and new ways of thinking and show what to follow and what to avoid from these thoughts.
