Under The Feet of Jesus is a novel by Helena Maria Viramontes. It is set in the fictional town of East L.A. in the 1980s. The novel tells the story of a group of Chicano teenagers who are trying to find their place in the world. They are constantly facing obstacles, such as poverty, violence, and racism. Despite all of these challenges, they continue to dream and fight for a better future.
