Samuel Beckett’s Krapp’s Last Tape and Embers were produced by the Gate Theatre, Dublin, in October Krapp’s Last Tape was directed by Patrick Mason, and Embers by Wayne Jordan.
In Krapp’s Last Tape, Beckett examines a man’s life through a series of recordings he has made. The play is a series of monologues, with Krapp reflecting on his life through a series of tape recordings he has made of his thoughts and observations.
