Cybersecurity is the protection of the data stored in the software and the hardware of the system. This four-factor is the indication of how, why and what kind of internet crime happened in the past the year.

This most highly occurred factor is the cybercrime. The malware or the virus being induced to our system to via internet and access our system data. Many government sectors also have faced this cybercrime and the percentage got increased from 62% to 77% from 2014 to 2017.

The cyber espionage is the method of access the login credentials which is stored in the system. Cyber espionage is showing a huge number in 2014 and got decreased in 2016. And compared to 2016 there is the slight increase in 2017. The hacktivism happens only in less number but still, it is the more threatening factor than the all. The hacker can hack into our system and misuse all our data without their knowledge. Many are still unaware that they have been hacked. The hack percentage got decreased over years it was 10.2% in 2014 and in 2017 it is 4.7%. The last factor is the cyber warfare, this seems to be in very less percentage because the defense sector of the government is the major victim in the cyber warfare. The hacker induces the malware to attack the system and download all the defense data. This is the threat to the entire nation. In 2014 the attack was 2.5% and it got increased to 4.3% in 2017. The above data clearly shows how the need cyber security in India is very important. Nice the cybercrimes and the hacking is getting into the more advanced level.
