Introduction

This paper will discuss Tuition Reimbursement and how it will benefit both the Sue’s Things Company and the employees that work there. It will be able to open new positions, giving the employees new opportunities to move ahead and make more money, and bring in new workers to replace those who have moved to a higher position increasing the workflow for the business and bringing in more profit for everyone.

With the economy being the way it is, there are a lot of people who are looking to better educate themselves in order to get ahead of the job market and earn the business degree that they have always wanted, I feel that if we offer our employees a tuition reimbursement this will be helpful to both us the company and to our employees.

With this being already approved into the budget there will be no financial costs to the company.

New Opportunities

When the employee finishes his or her Degree, they would be able to apply for a higher position in the company for a chance to earn more money, thus keeping that employee happy that they earned a degree and also are now able to move from their current position into a new position that they qualify for allowing them a chance for more money and a potential to keep moving “up the ladder” in the company.

They will feel proud of themselves for accomplishing this when they are finished, knowing that Sue’s Things also helped with the tuition, so it wouldn’t be so much of a burden to them to do it. We will be able to offer new positions to those employees of finish their training in the business and communications departments and also hire new employees to fill in for those who move ahead. Positions for these Degree’s In the Business and Communications Degree’s there are many opportunities that our employees can take advantage of in moving “up the ladder” for this company, they are Management, Human Resources, Customer Service, Benefits Administrator, and Sales Representatives to name a few. I think that when they decide after their Associates degree they would like to get their Bachelor’s Degree, Sue’s Things then would offer the incentive of possible more money to them for accomplishing that and give them the opportunity to also use their knowledge when graduate in their field of choice for the company.

Earning Potential

When new employees begin with Sue’s Things, they will be offered the opportunity for tuition reimbursement if they would like it, explaining that if they decide to go to school, or have already gone to school and received their degree, then they would be able to receive more money quicker, and be able to advance within the company faster. For those who already have their Associate’s Degree, this will also give them the opportunity to earn their Bachelor’s Degree if they are thinking about it, without costing them a lot of money, but still working here.

When they graduate, I feel we should give them a raise for finishing with their degree, and tell them that now that they have their degree if they would like to continue their education they will have more opportunities to reap their rewards while staying with Sue’s things. This way the employees will want to stay with the company to earn more money and be happy that they are also getting a better education by getting their degree to earn more.

Their earning potential will be able to go as high as they want when they finally finish their schooling, as long as they stay with the company. This will want them to stay with this company in order to move ahead to a newer position with the possibility of earning more money. Benefits for the Company The benefits for the company will be that there will be more satisfied employees working in Sue’s Things.

They will feel they are important to the company and want to take advantage of the Tuition Reimbursement plan to earn more money and to be able to move ahead into a new position that they want. This will also benefit us by being able to hire new employees to fill those positions that are opening up and offer new jobs to everyone finishing their schooling. I think though that we should have them sign a paper stating that if they are to take advantage of this offer they would stay with the company for one year after their graduation.

This way they would be able to see for themselves their benefit to the company and themselves, and if they are wanting to move to another company after graduation they would be changing their minds seeing how much they are making and are able to make with more education by using the Tuition Reimbursement plan. We would be able to make if affordable for them to be able to go to school either on campus, or online, whichever they prefer and depending on what they are studying.

Conclusion

In conclusion to this paper about Tuition Reimbursement, I think that this would be a great advantage to Sue’s Things and they employees who work here and those who will be applying for work. It will keep the company profitable by offering more positions to its employees and also offering more positions for more people to apply, thus giving the company more profit in the workforce. I hope you agree to this plan for the employees to be able to go back to school to earn their degrees in the Business and Communications Fields. I am sure it will be most profitable for both Sue’s Things and the people who work there.
