Leisure Lane Tours is a sole propritorship business and a specialized travel agency that provides tour packages depend on the needs and request of the client. It will be located at V.A. Rufino St., corner Herrera St., Makati City. The office will operate every Mondays to Saturdays from 8:00am until 6:00pm, and conduct tours from Mondays to Sundays, 24 hours.
The philippines has the largest volume in tourist in Southeast Asia. Tourism industry is recognized by the government as one of the important contributor in foreign exchange and investments for the growth of the country. This growth of the tourism industry gives oppotunity to my business to be successful in tourism industry. Because of the high demands and growth in the number of tourist in our country it will also raise the number of sales of travel and tour company or business.
Our marketing strategy will be based on ensuring that the customers will know about our existence and the services we offer. We intend to make the right information available to the right target customers. This will be done through personal selling and advertising, like giving liplets, posting banners and posters, and newspaper publications to ensure that we will be known in tourism industry. We will ensure that our prices consider the budget of the customers, that these customers will afford our services. It is important that we do not intend just to give customers on sightseeing excursions, but also to ensures thatn they appreciate nature through informative briefings or discussions during or before the tour. We also intend to develop the skills of our emplyees to grow so that the business will grow too.
We expected to get our target sales and increase from more than ₱ 170,000 on the first quarter to more than ₱ 190,000 on the second quarter, and ₱ 260,000 on the 3rd quarter. Market Analysis Section

The tourism industry is recognized by the government as an important contributor to the generation of foreign exchange earnings, investments, revenue, employment and to the growth of the country’s output. After a series of decline in tourist arrivals from 2000 to 2003, the Philippines bounced back in 2004. In 2006 the industry continued its growth higher than
the previous year.
This growth can be attributed to factors such as the country’s growing economy, infrastructure improvements and government initiatives to promote the country as an attractive tourist destination. The most important factor in this industry will be the quality of the services and places of the tour. We consider the different interests of individuals and groups as they see as many places as possible. In this line of business, clients compare directly, looking for two, or more possible companies.
But they usually follow word of mouth recommendations from hotels, travel agencies, car rental companies and other travel related companies. We have identified our competitor companies, that fill the same needs as Leisure Lane Tours have. We intend to market ourselves in such a way that the competitor customers will choose our service over competitors base on our higher quality and informative tours. It is a complete travel service company catering to corporate or business travel and leisure travel clients. 2. Anscor- Castro Travel Corp. Located on 2/F Tuscan Bldg. Rufino St., Legaspi Village, Makati. It is a full service travel company, they provide Corporate Travel, Meetings and Incentive Tours, Group Air Travel, Leisure Travel, Visa & Passport Facilitation.
Upon analysing of the above competitors, we observed that the majority are offering company or business travel, and this represents an opportunity to us. Since they are offering a travel services that only a businessman or a corporate clients can afford, that means our company has to offer a travel services that can afford even by not a corporate or businessman clients like students or ordinary employees or workers. I choose that location because that is a highly urbanized city, and I think that will be a good opportunity for my travel agency to have many clients in that area. Marketing Plan
One core element of our strategy will be the differentiation from our competitors. In terms of marketing we intend to ensure that our name and services are market on a large basis so that customers are aware of our existence. In price, we intend to offer reasonable and affordable prices in comparison to competitors.
Due to the introductory nature of our services we intend to implement a consumption pricing strategy which will ensure that potential customers are not frightened away by our prices, up until our services are appreciated and fully operational. However this will dictate that our costs are capably kept to ensure our financial goals.
We intend our income structure to match our cost structure, to ensure that the salaries we pay to our employees, to assure good service are balanced by the cost we charge to the customer. As being new to this market we intend to strength our presence using quality brochures and other sales materials, such as pens, complimentary slips, pads, and pamphlets. We intend to spread the word about our business through the following: ADVERTISING: This is through publications, which are read by tourists, as well as the local newspapers, which may provide an opportunity for us to advertise our services and business name.
