They maintain favored relationships with all major companies, travel agencies, schools and government and other institutions, enabling them to offer the best travel and tour accommodations at the lowest cost. They designed a novel programs aimed of giving you a better access to selected tourist destinations here and abroad. Their interest is to provide utmost satisfaction in travel comfort and safety, as well as security of our clients that will suit client’s satisfaction.

The general problem of the existing ticketing system of the company is it hinders the company to make multiple investments for the development of the system and since it’s not online the customer of the said company is only limited.

1. How to reduce ticketing process of the company?
2. How can you store the record for easy searching and retrieval of customer’s informations?
3. How to maximize the contributions to popularized the company’s services? Objectives of the Study

General Objective

The general objective of this study is to make an online ticketing system for St. William Travel and Tours for it to widen its access in the world of internet as well as in all different forms of business competitions against different companies. Specific Objectives:

1. To make an efficient and accurate system of Online Ticketing.
2. To create a well-arranged database and to implement strong search and retrieval of the information for data clarity and accuracy.
3. To develop a user friendly environment to implement company’s services.

Significance of the Study

To Travelling Agents and Personnel of St. William Travel and Tours The proposed system will help the St. William Travel and Tours especially the Travel Agent and Personnel. It will help to lessen the time and effort of the ticketing system in preparing customer’s travelling plans. The System develop can accommodate changing figures and produce a paperless environment through well design database.

This study will help the proponents to enhance the ability on how to create an understandable online system in an easy way. This will serve to the proponents as a challenge to do a better system. To the other Researcher

Scope and Limitation

Scope

Our project is to make online ticketing for traveling company to manage data, so that all the transactions become fast and there should not be any error in transaction like calculation mistake, bill generation and other things. It replaces all the paper work. It keeps records of all bills also, giving to ensure 100% successful implementation of the Online Ticketing system. Our online ticketing system has three modules. First module helps the customer to enquire the availability of seats in a particular bus, airport, and hotels at particular date. Second module helps him to reserve a ticket. Using third module he can cancel a reserved ticket.

Limitation

Researchers study only covers the existing and proposed ticketing system of St. William Travel and Tours, other online transaction to other company that doesn’t involve online ticketing is not supported by the system.

Methodology

In order to finish the study, the researchers used several methods tools that are most suitable to the sources of the data needed. The researchers observe on how the existing system of the company works. The proponents also considered an interview to gather the necessary data of the proposed system.
