Abortion’s Impact on Women’s Health and Adoption as Alternative

Many people are against the killing of an innocence life, but not against the killing of an innocence fetus. No matter how it is looked at, it's all murder. In this paper I will state why I feel that abortion is morally wrong. How the abortion affect the woman body and the use of adoption as the other alternative for abortion. I feel that abortion is morally wrong, because it kills innocence human being in the womb. Biology teaches us that a human being becomes a human as a zygote, however other researchers states that a fetus are just a bunch of cells gathered together in a group, whether it is a bunch of cells or a fetus, it has a heart beat which mean that it is a living thing, and all living things has a right to life.

In order to understand what abortion is, we must first define abortion According to the Medical dictionary an abortion is the premature exit of the products of conception (the fetus, fetus membranes and placenta) from the uterus.

This mean the killing of a baby before that baby reach full term. This is not a tumor, or a cyst that is removed because it may cause some complications. This is a fetus that is growing into a human being. Being of the Baptist faith my moral belief is Thy shall not kill, as stated in the bible in Exodus 20 as one of the Ten Commandment, regardless of color, race, or origin. We are all gods' creation born and equally made.

I feel that abortion is morally wrong, because every human being has a right to life. No one is God and no one should try to play God. I will give you an example of taking a life. Let's talk about the George Zimmerman case. There is a lot of people upset, and outrage about the fact that a young teenager lost his life at the hand of George. Now this teenager was able to defend himself and fight back. But a fetus in the womb that is innonce and helpless and not able to fight for their selves do not have anyone to be outrage for them when their life is taken at the hands of murders. Even though the fetus is not fully developed, it is still a human being carried in the woman womb.

That fetus that is in the woman womb has a heartbeat, and anything with a heartbeat is alive. The only one that is able to take a life is God. He gave us life and no one has the right to take it. When having an abortion, women are playing with their own life. Abortion leads to many complications and side effects. Some complications and side effects come about during the procedure while other complications and side effects show up weeks, months, or years later. Here are just some of the complications and side effects that abortion causes. Having an abortion leads to Abdominal Pain and Cramping. This is the most common side effect.

These cramps feel similar to a menstrual cycle cramp, but with sharper pains and will last up to 4 weeks. Along with having the cramping there will also be heavy bleeding. Some women pass large blood clots and lose a large amount of blood, which send them back to the hospital. At the time the woman is admitted into the hospital to either have another procedure done to stop the bleeding or to have a blood transfusion because she has lost so much blood. Another side effect is Nausea and Diarrhea. Women that have an abortion will be nausea and have diarrhea. That will last for a few weeks. The woman will feel nausea whenever she eats or drink and will have to stay close by a restroom until her body gets rid of all the toxins in her body due to having an abortion. Abortions are dangerous and have complication. When having an abortion women can set up an infection. This infection will be in the abdominal area.

Having an infection in the abdominal area causes many other complications: It can lead to a woman not being able to get pregnant again. It can lead miscarriages; it can cause birth defects or the woman losing her life. There are also emotional side effects to abortion. The woman has anxiety attacks, because she regrets having the abortion to terminate the pregnancy. It causes depression. The woman develops low self-esteem about herself, because she realized now that she killed a baby. The woman is not able to sleep or have bad dreams. She becomes suicidal and anger or out raged or the woman has no emotions or feeling at all anymore.

When terminating a pregnancy these are symptoms that women does not think about. The only thing the women want to do is to get rid of the baby, because either it does not fit into her life style, or the male does not want to help take care of the baby or she is not able to take care of it. At any rate these are not any reason to have an abortion. Some women do not realize that there are other alternative to abortion. Let's look at the alternative. Adoption is one alternative. Adoption is allowing that child to grow up with another family, and letting that child live to have a voice, to make a stand, to be something great to change the world. Adoption let the child know that he or she was given a second chance at life.

There are many people that are not able to have children that are willing to adopt a baby and care for it just, like it their very own. Some of the adoption agencies allow the mother and the adopted parents to meet and to keep in contact with each other. Some agencies are a long and lengthy process and can become costly, but there are other agencies that can help with the long procedure and the cost. If people decide to adopt and are not able to spend the amount of money that is needed, they are able to start out fostering the child and in turn that can lead to adoption. There's also many different type of adoption agencies here are a few of them; in a kinship adoption.

In domestic adoption, children are born and adopted in the United States. All domestic adoptions as governed by state laws, both in the state where the adopting parent reside and the state where the child is born. International adoptions are adoption of children from a foreign country. They are subject to each country's requirements and regulations, as well as to the U.S, Citizenship and Immigration Services Laws. As long as there are abortion clinics, there will always be women, having abortions. As long as we have Dr. performing abortions, we will have women getting abortions. As long as the Dr's is willing to help the women with the abortion, we will have women getting abortions. And as long as we have Dr's that are saying this is not morally wrong, we will have women getting abortions. We cannot stop all women from having them, but if we can just stop one, one woman that hears my argument and give it a second thought, one woman that says, I really do not want to abort my baby, and the one woman that will say, I will go for the alternative. Then, that's the moment my message had gotten through and the women chose to save a life rather than end a life. In conclusion, I have discussed why abortion is morally wrong, how abortion affect a woman, and the alternatives to abortion. Abortion is a topic that will continue to be talked about for many years to come. Abortion is a topic that will always have different opinion. Abortion will always be a topic that will cause rallies and picking. And abortion is a procedure that kills fetuses and that is morally wrong.
