The black death approximately struck Europe in 1347 October. Asia was struck by the outbreak first in 1331 within the Yuan Empire which was going through many things at the time. Historians have discussed that it may have spread to Europe through the trading systems they had around the mainland. The black death had its reign of terror among the human race for many decades which only took its break approximately in 1353 A.N. Before it had ended it was able to kill at least a third of Europe’s population, including what was predicted to have killed 75 million people worldwide as well.

The slightest grasp of knowledge at the time they were trusted by the people. During the modern days it became less likely to catch the contagious mark of death and even if someone were to become infected Authorities will know what do and how to sort it out.

The symptoms of the black death during the medieval times compared to modern are not that different, just it’s less dangerous as it was back then and that’s to the help of modern science and time. Even if the disease is contracted by an individual the symptoms will not be that harsh to the human body, thanks to hygiene and the current days of life we live in this modern society. Hygiene has impacted the symptoms of the black death. The reason why it has gotten less serious with the symptoms is because the immune system in the human body becoming stronger and the scientific use of vaccines, therefore being able to avoid the black death if it ever came around again.

The doctors during the time otherwise commonly known as plague doctors were the people at the time, plague doctors were the ones which the people went to in order to try and get rid of the deathly disease. Even though the plague doctors were the ones everyone relied on other than the doctors they were not actual properly trained surgeons or fully trained doctors, but second-rate doctors that had little understanding of the matter. Most plague doctors did not cure patients most of the time, however most of them counted the bodies of the deceased for future notes. Due to the fact of them being there to count the kills of the black death shows they gave little help or notice to the people who were in need. For those only few Plague doctors who did try to help they only were able to do so much in an amount of time before contracting the contagious disease themselves, which is why others do their best to stay away from the job everyone thought they did. The only type of cure they would use for the patients were to only put leaches on the patient, this was to balance the blood that had been drawn to the wounds. Scientist discus that the plague doctors knew something about the plague which gave them ways to avoid it, one of those way happened to be the knowledge of their prediction that miasma carried the plague. In the video source they say that “miasma is a poisonous vapour” which means it could have been carried by the wind.

The destruction of the economy and population had been at it’s worse in the medieval days but as the black plague came around it had gotten worse. Sources say that during the black death many peoples morality levels dropped as their family, wives, husbands and children started to die of the plague which would cause.

The destruction of the economy and population had been at it’s worse in the medieval days but as the black plague came around it had gotten worse. Sources say that during the black death many peoples morality levels dropped as their family, wives, husbands and children started to die of the plague which would cause them to go near to having no morality which means they lost sense of good and wrong, meaning they will act immaturely to things. The approximate time the morality levels started to decay was during the 1350’s when the black death was at it’s highest power during the time. Many of the people working for the nobles saw the other workers dying as an opportunity to get a raise for their pay income from the work which they did. Even if the lords do allow them to have a higher raise there is still a large chance, they will end up dropping dead as well.

The burials of the people were at a high rate due to so many dropping dead at the hand of the black death. So many people were dropping dead that there weren’t even enough people to dispose of the bodies! Officials had to make the grave yards bigger and the pits deeper because there were that many dropping every day. Due to the harsh fact there were so many burial pits was disrespectful to the people who died. Even though the people who lost their fate and ended up being laid to rest in the pit were mostly peasants and people of the rather lower dirty classes, they were still human beings and yet they were looked down upon by other higher-ranking individuals.

What at least came out of the black death for modern science and health. Few studies predict that after the Black death the people of Europe started to live a longer lifespan then before. This was found out because as the people started to investigate the burial pits of the London cemeteries which had most people buried there from the 14th century when the black death was around. The proof they found after studying the bones of the people from the burial pit was tremendous, they found proof that depicted before and after the plague there were lower risks of dying at any age after the first plague outbreak then before.

The proof they found after studying the bones of the people from the burial pit was tremendous, they found proof that depicted before and after the plague there were lower risks of dying at any age after the first plague outbreak then before when the plague was not present. Before the plague it was well known that about 10 percent of the population’s lifespan only made it up to the age of 70. This was said by a researcher who went by Sharon DeWitte, she was a biological anthropologist and a University. After the black death had died out at the time people started to have a longer lifespan after that date which showed that something in their immune system out body had gotten stronger when trying to survive the time of those dark ages.

After many decades of the black death’s chaos the world will never be the same again. It will never be the same again because of how the black death changed society, modern science and health, mass death of the people during the medieval ages and the graveyards around Europe which were filled with all the people that died during the black death. As an ending to this conclusion there will be a question left for the reader to ponder on, “ How do you think the world would be if there was no Black death?”
