Transportation is one of the important factors in the development or progress of the world. The improvement of its parts especially the engine is the most important idea that could provide high performance to the transport vehicle. The engine was designed to make the all the other parts of the transport vehicle to also perform well. Dealing with the engine, internal combustion engine is said to be one of the greatest inventions of mankind that helped to shape the world to what we know today.
An engine that has the combustion of the fuel and oxidizer was processed in a place called combustion chamber is referred to as internal combustion engines. The process of combustion and oxidation was said to be exothermic that creates gases at high temperature and pressure. Engine may either burn the fuel inside or outside. Fuel burning that takes place outside is somewhat called as steam engine while engine that operates by fuel burning inside the engine was referred to as internal combustion engine.
Internal combustion engine comes in different type; diesel, hydrogen, methane or propane are some of it. Typically, there is adaptation requirement and only one type of fuel is needed to run engines (NASA). The construction and operation of two-stroke engine is of the opposite means; construction of two-stroke engine is uncomplicated while operation is of complicated forms. The next stroke, upward stoke, compress and then being ignited. Then, third stoke will be made as expansion of exhaust gases took place. The last stroke make it possible for the gases evacuates the cylinder. In terms of efficiency, four-stroke cycle is more efficient than the two-stroke cycle. On the other hand, it requires considerably more moving parts and manufacturing expertise (Bellis).
