Quotes:

“For theirs. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn.” Chapter 4 page 18. I like this quote because its beautifully written and the meaning of it.

“although my book is intended mainly for entertainment of boys and girls, I hope it will not be shunned by men and women on that account, for part of my plan has been to try to pleasantly remind adults of what they once were themselves, and how they felt and thought and talked, and what queer enterprises they sometimes they engage in.”

This quote is important to me because we were all once children and sometimes we forget to have fun as we grow older. This quote reminded me back of my childhood and how happy and fun it was.

The ending of the book The Adventure of Tom Sawyer is Huck joins the gang, Tom got out of the cave with Becky, Huck saved widow Douglas life, Huck and Tom got joe’s stolen gold and became rich. I thought the ending was.
