Talcott Parsons was born on December 13, 1902 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. When he was born, his father at the time was a professor in English at Colorado College and he was also the vice president of the college.

In 1927, Parsons got married to Helen Bancroft Walker with who he had three children. Talcott Parsons died in May 8, 1979 due to a heart stroke.
