Punishment is the reliable imposition of something negative or unpleasant on a person in response to behavior considered wrong by an individual or group. The authority may be either a group or a single person, and punishment may be carried out formally under a system of law or informally in other kinds of social settings such as within a family. Parents should be punished for smoking at home. Smoking causes effects on human health, it causes harm to children and it particularly damaging in young people.

Parents should be punished for smoking Cigarette because cigarettes contain about 4,000 different chemicals which can damage the cells and systems of the human body. These include at least 80 chemicals that can cause cancer (including tar, arsenic, benzene, cadmium and formaldehyde) nicotine (a highly addictive chemical which hooks a smoker into their habit) and hundreds of other poisons such as cyanide, carbon monoxide and ammonia.

Second-hand smoke, or passive smoking, affects adults, children, and the pets you love most that many people don’t even take reflection on. My opinion: Almost everyone knows that smoking causes cancer, emphysema, and heart disease; that it can shorten your life by 10 years or more; and that the habit can cost a smoker thousands of dollars a year. So how come people are still lighting up? The answer, in a word, is addiction. Once you start, it’s hard to stop! Smoking is the main preventable cause of disease and death, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Smoking has a negative effect on nearly every part of your body as soon as you inhale.
