The hook will be and acton hook. It will be when Harry is in the Chamber talking to Tom Riddle or when Tom Riddle is forming into Voldemort right in front of Harry’s eyes.

Draco Malfoy

Draco Malfoy is Harry’s arch nemesis. His family is very wealthy, he is able to buy himself a position on the Slytherin House Quidditch team. He has the fastest broomstick but, he isn’t very good at it. Malfoy and his friends bully Harry in school a lot. They absolutely hate him. Comment by Jennifer Heckman:

Dobby

Dobby is the Malfoy’s elf. Dobby tries to get Harry out of Hogwarts to keep him away from the danger that lurks there. He almost kills Harry by trying to save his life.

Setting ( Time and Place. Be sure to describe):

The setting of this book is at Hogwarts School of Wizardry and Magic. This magic School is in a place where no muggle shall find. A muggle is a human with no magic. Harry has to take a secret train from platform 9 3/4 which is hidden through a wall. This is Harry’s second year at Hogwarts.

Conflict/Plot:

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets begins when Harry is spending a miserable summer with his only remaining family, the Dursleys. Harry stays with them because his parents were killed by Voldemort. Harry gets a real shock when he gets a surprise visitor...Dobby the house-elf, who warns him against returning to Hogwarts, because terrible things are going to happen. Harry decides to ignore Dobby's warning and continues with his plan. But at Hogwarts, strange and terrible things are indeed happening. When Harry arrives he is suddenly hearing mysterious voices from inside the walls, muggle-born students are being attacked, and a message scrawled on the wall in blood puts everyone on his or her guard. Harry finds a secret notebook that belonged to Tom Riddle where the ink will disappear and reappear as he asks questions.

While HArry was communicating with the notebook he got to go into Tom Riddle’s life and see how he lived but no one could see him. Later on Harry went to Myrtle the ghost’s bathroom that no one was in and went into the chamber. He then unlocked a big door that had a snake around it. When Harry went into the chamber he saw a snake, Harry can speak to snakes. He also saw a hat appeared and the sword of Gryffindor was in it. Harry ended up having to fight the snake, Harry ripped the snakes tooth out and stabbed the notebook with it and got rid of Tom Riddle which at that time he realized was Voldemort. Harry explains his adventure to Dumbledore. Then, Lucius Malfoy storms into the office with his house-elf, Dobby, and Harry frees Dobby from by tricking Lucius into giving Dobby a sock.
