CHAPTER 1INTRODUCTION OF HARYANA TEXPRINTS OVERSEAS LTD.In year 1992 Indo Textile Overseas Ltd. was restricted with bleaching , dyeing, printing and mercerizing of natural as theyll as unwoven material . The motto of the company is to achieve customer satisfaction by providing quality products that is customer oriented . The proof of the hallmark that the company has received is the quality of the product which they provide at the best competitive price . The highlights of the company are : cotton, viscose, silk, polyester, georgette, moss crepe, rayon which also include manmade fibers .
The continuous delivery of goods or products of the customers not only increase the demand in domestic market but also increase in international market .The end objective is to give the shortest turn-around time in production and supply. The main focus to have a better work place for employees, 100% customer satisfaction and a good relation with the stakeholders of the company. In this organisation moreover they have transparency and trust, different teams for different tasks with theyll qualified staff, due to simple and speedy processes they able to meet the customer needs and give response to it and can make quick decision.
They include cotton, blended, polyester, rayon, viscose, silk, nylon and other fancy fabrics in different theyaves like plain texture, twill, dobbs, stain georgette, chiffon, crape, leno and jacquard etc. with the superior quality at competitive price as per the international customers needs like GAP, old navy, ralph polo, calvin klein, American eagle, A&F, Free people, Anthropology, Juicy Couture, DKNY, TEXFA LCREW, Nordstorm, Jones, Lucky brand, Ann Taylor, CWC, PVH, NEXT, French Connection, M&S and Debenhams. Servicing of machine should be done on time to time basis .FINDINGSThe company’s labour expenses are more than the required one .Less motivated labours .Senior accountants avoid taking suggestions from there subordinates .The decision making management does not take immidiate action .The good quality material is used for manufacturing cloths .Waste dumping of the company is treated & recycled for maximum benefits.Lack of promotion through advertisments and other means .CHPTER 6CONCLUSIONS AND RESULTSCompany’s operating ratio was 0.92 in 2016-2017 .Quick ratio of the company is 0.84 in 2016-17, due to major contribution of current assets to inventories .Currenty , company does not have any long term borrowings and short term borrowings of 2,71,33,732 .Short term liabilities has been reduced from 5,35,875 to 2,59,918 .Tangible assets has increases by 2 laces from previous year .Reduction in inventories cost by 54 laces .Trade receivables is still 1,24,00,761 which is considered secured but still should be reduced & cycle of receiving should be decreased.Trade payables paid during the year were 40 laces.Revenue from Operations have decreased from l°st ye°r by 40,000 and is now 4,42,87,412.Cost of material Consumed h°s signific°ntly decreased by 33 l°cs from l°st ye°r.Ch°nge in inventories due to decrease in WIP by 21 l°cs.Fin°nce cost h°s been reduced by 20% .2015-16 profit °fter °ll expenses comes out to be 1,72,822 .MY EXPERIENCEMy initial days at Haryana Texprint Ltd. were not as I expected them to be as I found it difficult to adapt to the new environment . To understand the working of the organisation better I interacted with existing staff about how things are done here and they were very helpful and provided me with a lot of useful knowledge . After few days , I understood the working of the organisation more and started adapting to the envornment . My major task during this intership was to understand the customers demand and fulfil them time to time . I also analysed the demand of the consumers and cross checked whether the company was able to fulfil the needs of the consumer . I interpreted the market demand , for cloths , by the consumers . I quoted the prices as per the suitability of the consumers as well as the company . Through my findings , I saw that the company has always been customer oriented and want to provide best product at most suitable price but does not focus employees to much . Altogether , it was a really positive experience for me as the resonsibilities given to me helped me to come out from my comfort zone and make decision towards the betterment of the company . I learned a lot during this internship and my superior helped me and supported me through out the internship and this internship made me grow as an individual as well as a team person , enhance my personality and is a plus point to my CV .
