Man Nature is Good

"The essence of mankind is innately good." (Mencius).

Goodness is a virtue and holiness in action. It's a result that characterizes by deeds with good reason of someone doing something by righteousness and a desire to be a blessing. In addition to that, it is the quality of being virtuously and morally good. In fact, every individual is born with four virtues which are Righteousness, ritual property, wisdom, and benevolence. In this paper I will define two of the four virtues, righteousness, benevolence and how they are used by people, demonstrating the inherently good of manhood.

Righteousness is defined as the quality of morally right. It is considered as an investment with an incredible lasting result. Righteousness allows other people to be happy. By having righteousness as a virtue; It's not only good for you but the people around you and the society that you reside in. Furthermore, to be righteous is to do what is right and good for others.

Next, it is the human self and will and often righteousness is advantageous for humanity in general and I have seen how people used it to be a blessing to individuals. I saw an act where a guy who got his mother killed by another person, instead of going for revenge he had to let go in order to have peace. Sometimes, it is hard, but sometimes in life, we have to let go to show the good nature of man. It's quite amazing to witness how unbelievable it is to have righteousness as a virtue.

I have observed how people care for others, the desire that they must build up their home, their local community. Moreover, righteousness is beneficial for humanity.

Benevolence is defined as when someone has a kind personality and already ready to lay down his life to support and love others in a good way. Throughout my life in my own observation. I have experienced so much goodness in people. I could see how benevolent they are in terms of charity. I remember I was in Haiti in 2008 there was a massive flood that devasted the country. It seemed like there was no hope at that time. But I was able to see how some people showing goodness and the way they expressed among individuals, support and help to those in need. Honestly, it always seems interesting to me, and very pleasing to me and quite inspiring in a sense the way people show kindness and generosity to help others.

Another example, I remember going on a mission trip to Haiti with some people. It was quite amazing to see them despite the differences they poured out their hearts to take care of some orphans. Next, they could not speak the language, however they used universal language which is love, to interact with people. Additionally, they were some doctors who decided to use the talents that they had to see some patients for free to where they had to pay a lot of money. Furthermore, they opened their hearts in a good way. Another reason why man mature is good, I got to see an act of kindness by a friend of mine where he had to miss class to take a friend who was very ill to the doctor. For me, that was very uplifting. Overall, I saw a person helped a handicap guy who was crossing the street.

For instance, people may have a rough day, they may act a certain way which can be rude sometimes, but that does make them bad for that. This process is like an acorn tree gives the right nourishment, becomes an oak tree. The full tree is not visible at first, but the nature of the tree is already there. The Acorn simply needs tending so that it will not die. Next, take for example a tennis player, he knows to do a certain exercise, to work out and retain from certain food in order to be good. It seems hard sometimes to do, it's the same for human beings, they are basically men are born with good intentions, however, they need to work to maintain and keep the good nature of mankind. It may not always easy to spot the goodness of mankind, but it is there. I do believe that the world could be an extremely remarkable welcoming home if everyone could try for only their good to be perceived.

Furthermore, they will be moments of victory where you will find your true self and what you are really made and your purpose in life as a man. To conclude, Man Nature is inherently good. There is no way that man is not good. I believe that every human is basically good. These virtues will develop fully if it cultivates and works perfectly. The goodness of mankind may not always be the easiest thing to spot, but it is there. I do believe that. And if everyone could see that and strive for only their good to be seen.
