Life Is A Rainbow With Multi Colors

I studied Linguistics in University of Pristina in Kosovo. In 1998, I graduated and started working as high school teacher in capital city of Kosovo. Same year, war was spreading all over Kosovo, it was no more hope something good is going to happen. We lost everything in almost two weeks. We were living in different houses, with no food, no clothes, no water, and not having the ability to leave the country. I didn’t know how to be poor, I didn’t know how to live poor life with different people around me, having the same problems.

I was moving from place to place wherever we could find a safe place to stay. Until one day we got captured and we were forced to leave the country.

They took our ID cards, and all other document we had. To save our life’s we walked through mountains, with no food or drinking water. It was a very hard time in my life.

I believe having a loving family is one of the most important things in my life. After leaving Kosovo, in 1999, I lived in Montenegro for one year with my family. I worked in school teaching high school German. In 2000, I moved to Switzerland, where I lived for 6 years and worked as an interpreter. In 2006, I moved to United States, where I am now starting over my career again. I live with my lovely husband and my two beautiful kids, who are always there to make me laugh and melt my heart with happiness.

Even if I am tired working full time and going to school full time I really enjoy spending time with family and friends. My kids love music as much as I do, my daughter is in school band, for solo and keyboard. My son plays guitar, and I used to play Albanian drums. Every birthday or holidays we sing our favorite songs. I like our morning debates and sharing stories and sing loud, before school and work. Also, we are very big soccer fan. Saturday’s is our favorite day, when we have soccer games. I love walking with my dog, Missy and I really love how Missy love Dude our cat.

Life is beautiful. Life is a rainbow with multi colors, and long roads. My rainbow shined after rain, and my colors were very unique and different, and my journey was chosen only for me. Love and respect have grown on me more, every human deserve a good song to listen. Because music is made for love, and to heal hearts. Love your life first, because you know how to love others.
