When it comes to the Mid-Autumn festival, we have to recall the moon. The moon is the symbol of the Mid-Autumn festival. The people celebrate the Mid-Autumn festival by doing every thing about the moon. For one thing is to eat the traditional food-moon cakes.

The moon cakes were classified into different taste, for instance the fruit moon cakes, red beans moon cakes and egg yolk moon cakes. It is a traditional custom for people buy moon cakes for each others. For another thing is that, people always appreciate the moon, when they are drinking and eating. More over in the ancient times, people prefer wrote the poem about the moon with their friends. And they also love to express their emotions by moon, because in their opinions the moon is missing.
