Satire:

It is a literary device. The use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity. Rancho(Amir Khan) gives his class fellows two words and says to them that you have 30 seconds to define these words. And if you like you can use your textbooks. Whoever finds the answers, raise your hand let's see who's first and who's last. The time starts and everyone get into a race. After 30 seconds past Rancho says time up. He says What no one found the answers? Now, rewind your life 1 minute and think When I asked this question, did anyone think.

"Today we will get to learn something new! How Fun"? Anyone? Sir can you answer? No all of you simply started running the race. Even if you do study like this and come in first place·. What's the point? Will your knowledge increase? No! Only your pressure will increase. And this a college, not a pressure cooker. Even a circus lion can learn to jump on a chair for fear of being whipped.

But we call such a lion "well-trained" not "well educated". It clearly seems that satire has been used in the above video. As Rancho is criticizing their stupidity that no one thought that we will learn something new today or first we will explain the meaning our self.

Style and Tone:

It is a literary device. Style refers to the writer's choice of the choice and use of words and phrases in speech or writing, sentence structure, literary techniques, and use of rhythm.

And Tone refers to the writer's attitude toward his/her story and to the reader. The writer's Tone assists in creating a mood or atmosphere for the. In this above video Teacher asks the student "What is Machine" Chatur(Omi Vaidya) raises his hand but the teacher points out Rancho who is smiling. He answers that anything that simplifies work or saves time, is a machine. Teacher throws a chalk on him and says I want the exact definition. Rancho says I told you. Everyone starts laughing. Chatur raises his hand and tells the exact definition and at the back Rancho is making fun of him. The Teacher appreciates him and tells that you have done a wonderful work. Rancho says that I have told you with simple meaning. The teachers says if you want to learn in simple language so get out of my class. Rancho starts to walk and comes backs. The teacher asks him why are you back? He tells him a definition. No one understands the teacher says to him what are you saying? He says I forgot my books sir. Teacher says can't you say in simple language he says I tired but you didn't listen. It clearly seems that it is Style and Tone because his both Style and Tone changes when he is asking from Rancho his Style is aggressive and a anger is in his Tone. And on other hand towards Chatur his he is talking to him very calmly and his style is untroubled.

Sarcasm:

the use of remarks that clearly mean the opposite of what they say, made in order to hurt someone's feelings or to criticize something in a humorous way. In this above video Suhas(Sanjay Lafont) is taunting his fiance Pia(Kareena Kapoor) that what the hell is this? What are wearing your 18th century watch? What will people say? Look at Suhas's fiance that she is going to become a doctor and she is wearing a 200 rupees watch. A lady comes and takes him with her. Rancho(Amir Khan) comes to Pia and says to her that don't marry that stupid man. Pia says that who are you to tell her? He says you want a demo? I will find out the price of his shoes. He picks a chutney from the waiter and throws it on Suhas's shoes. Suhas starts yelling that what have you done? My shoes are of 300 dollars. Rancho says to Pia run it's a free advice take it or leave it. Clearly in this sarcasm has been used as Rancho exposes Suhas in front of Pia his fiance and insults him infront of the whole crowd.

Dramatic Irony:

It is a literary device that is inherent in speeches or a situation of a drama and is understood by the audience but not grasped by the characters in the play. In the above video Chatur is ready to give his speech in front of his dean (Viru) and Minister of Education. He greets all the students and teachers. He says all the credits goes to our dean because of him we are reaching new heights of success. He says for 32 years our dean is screwing students in this college (he means serving students) and I am sure he will continue to do this stuff. I am astounded that how one man, in his one lifetime can screw so many and so well. We should learn from his methods. We will make our dean proud by screwing. He then comes to Education Minister you have given the institution what it needs human chest (he means funds). The Minister angrily gets up and leaves the Hall. Chatur finishes the speech and then dean comes and starts t beat him. Clearly Dramatic Irony has been used in this because Chatur did not knew that his speech has been changed by Rancho and the audience knew that before.

Situational Irony:

It is a literary device that that you can easily identify in literary works. Simply, it occurs when incongruity appears between expectations of something to happen, and what actually happens instead. Clearly Situational Irony has been used in this because Chatur did not knew that his speech has been changed but the audience was expecting this kind of outcome.
