Introduction

Now a day's every one want a facility which reduce their efforts, time and provide a way to do their work more easily. For cooking food LPG gas is commonly used. It produced in 1910 by „Dr.Walter Snelling?. LPG is a mixture of commercial propane and commercial butane having saturated as well as unsaturated hydrocarbons. In INDIA gas distributer uses IVRS, SMS or ONLINE booking for LPG which are time consuming methods in fast running life.To find that people are not able to do these task and busy schedule people they haven't sufficient time to do all the activity Also safety plays the important role.

As everyone know that many accidents happen due to gas leakage. In this project MQ-5 gas sensor is use to sense the leakage gas.

LPG is an odourless gas which is a mixture of propane and butane. It contains both saturated and unsaturated hydrocar- bons.. LPG is lique?ed under moderate pressure and has replaced many conventional fuel systems in household and commercial sectors.

Though it is one of the most commonly used fuels. It is packed into 3 categories according to the weight of the LPG in the cylinder: Household, Commercial and Industrial. The Household category of LPG cylinder contains 14.2 kg LPG in the cylinder. Similarly, the Commercial and Industrial categories of LPG cylinders contain 19 and 35 kg of LPG respectively. The LPG is ?lled only up to 85% in these cylinders above which will be vapours. This is due to the expansion property of the LPG and consequently, contributes as a safety precaution to avoid any hazards.

For every 1? rise in temperature, the pressure of LPG inside the cylinder will increase by 15 kg/cm3. This makes LPG a very hazardous and extremely in?ammable gas.

A large amount of research has been going on based upon the monitoring and leakage detection of LPG, its feasibility and reliability. At present, the products available are either used to detect gas leakage or LPG monitoring alone. These products tend to be bulky thus making it dif?cult to be placed separately. Also, these products are not common. Researches have been carried out to design a system that combines the detection of LPG leakage as well as monitoring its usage. This was the inspiration behind implementing the proposed system. From existing research on this feild it was observed that each system uses different components mainly, a microcontroller, weight sensors etc. At ?rst, 555 timers were used for the timing process in such systems [3]. Later on, many systems used AT89C51 microcontroller as the basis of computing and programming [4]. However, as time progressed, more ef?cient microcontrollers came into existence and the former started to be replaced by Atmega 328, LPC2148 etc.
