Nowadays, various ubiquitous technology can be accessed easily. We already have web-enabled wireless device that is portable which is smart phones, web-enabled wireless handheld computer such as tablets and wireless laptop computers. Those ubiquitous open technology is also can be an embedded device consist of various types of special-purpose computing system to undergo specific purpose and able to be accessed anywhere as long as there is internet connection.
For an instance, in the field of security, there is a device serve the purpose to watch over the house even when the owner is not around.
THE KEY ISSUE
In this era full of technological advancement and many future innovation, we still cannot deny that there is still crime occurring every single day. According to crime statistic, burglary and housebreaking cases were keep increasing every year. This means that there is still lacking in the level of security.
Besides losing some of the owner belongings, burglary can also cause post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for some cases for there is certain burglar who brought dangerous weapon during housebreaking. The solution of this issue is to introduce the closed-circuit television system (CCTV) specifically for an additional home surveillance to increase the house security level. Installing CCTV to one house can bring benefits to the owner as well as decreasing the burglary crime rate.
The way CCTV works is firstly, CCTVs transmit video via a closed circuit, which means that the recorded video cannot be transferred to an external device.
