This herbaceous plant is also known as papaw, paw paw, kapaya, lapaya, tapaya, papayao, papaya, papaia, papita, lechosa, fruta bomba, mamon, mamona, mamao and tree melon (Nordin et al., 2010) . carica papaya leaves have shown the presence of anti-dengue, anti-plasmodia, anti-cancer, antibacterial, hepatoprotection, anti-inflammatory and Antioxidantproperties in-vitro and in-vivo studies (Nugroho et al., 2017). This plant has been used traditionally in cases of kidney failure, lowsperm count, dental care, heart problems, natural memory enhancer, and remedy for fibroids in uterus (Uduak et al., 2013).
