The inside of most mangoes is a deep orange, although some mangoes in Asia have a white flesh. Mangoes are often fibrous, they have many long thin fibers that can easily get stuck in between your teeth. So if you ever eat a mango I would bring a toothpick or floss. Mangoes either have little or no fiber, but no matter how much fiber there is the fruit is more custard-like in texture. Most mangoes that are imported are picked unripe so that they can ripen during transportation, this way their less likely to rot.

It is kind of hard to say rather or not you will like mangoes because a mango might taste delicious to one person, but another person might think it tastes bitter or gross. Most people would describe the taste of a mango as a cross between a orange and melon and if you get a good mango it can be very sweet. When a mango is fully ripe, it can still be somewhat difficult to eat, they are very juicy. Mangoes are best served either in long slices or in bite-sized cubes. If you ever visit a country where mangoes grow, you should definitely try a fresh mango, they taste much better fresh than the ones you can purchase at a supermarket. Below is a list of just a few different ways that you can prepare some mango.
