There are millions of leaders around the world but not of them have a global impact on society. Cesar Chavez impacted the lives of millions of farmworkers across the United States.

Also fought for undocumented and colored people to for equal rights. Hitler influenced a nation to believe an a singular perfect race and got them to kill thousands of people. Harriet Tubman sacrificed her life every time she helped slave escape out of the south and into the north. Genghis Khan took over almost all of Asia.

Mahatma Gandhi lead the people of India to fight for their independence against the British rule. Martin Luther King Jr. lead thousands of people across the United States to fight for equality. Every leader had a different strategy and a different goal but they all created a movement.

My leader was Cesar Chavez, he accomplished to rise pay for farm workers and get them more reasonable break times during their work day. Although it seems like so little, it helped thousands of people across the United States. Hitler on the other hand, had the skill of persuasion to make people believe in a “perfect race” and got them to kill thousands of people that didn’t meet that criteria. What they have accomplished is so different from each other, one is trying to promote a new way of life for farm workers while the other one is trying take over Europe and camel his vision come to life. Hitler used violence to get people to surrender and give in to his plan.

Cesar did peaceful protests like sit ins and marches, nothing that included violence. They’re way of winning the people we’re complete opposite but they both worked for each other.

Harriet Tubman and Cesar Chavez are so similar yet different. Both of these brilliant people story begins in the United States. They went through similar childhoods and working experience. They worked day in and day out in the fields under the bright and hot sun and sometimes without a break at all. Once they were both older, they started to get more involved with their community and helping people out. Harriet managed to escape more than 300 slaves out of the south and into a safer place for them. Although Harriets and Cesar’s movement weren’t the same but they both increasingly helped the colored people in having more opportunities in life.

Genghis Khan at young age started dominating his enemies and taking over Asia. He is different from Cesar Chavez due to the that he used violence to get people to surrender to him. He used pure military tactics, he tortured people that saw differently from him. Cesar took a nonviolent approach and more humble way to get people to believe in him. The main thing they had in common was that in their own way, they managed to inspire their followers.

Mahatma Gandhi and Cesar Chavez were both two humbled activist seeking civil rights for their people. They both used nonviolent ways to get their followers to believe in them. Although they were both seeking civil rights, Gandhi was fighting for independence and Chavez was looking for justice and equality. Another difference that they had was the location on where these events happened, Gandhi’s movement happened in India; Chavez movements happened in the United States. These different locations caused them to have different childhood experiences that shaped them to be who they were meant to be.

Martin Luther King Jr. was an African American activist who fought for people of colored to be treated as equally as white people. Just like Harriet Tubman and Gandhi, they all fought for civil rights but different issues that branch out from that. They way Mr.King handled the nonviolent marches and sit ins were the same as Chavez. They both spoke very passionately about the problems they wanted to fix and really interacted with their followers. Although they both had nonviolent events, Mr.King still got incarcerated due to the power that a white person had at the time.

These are all great leaders with different tactics to achieve their end goal which is what makes them so great. The passion they had for their work and the commitment they had to their followers was impeccable.
