Many secret alliances had developed in Europe, witch caused other countries suspicion for there so called, Noe in the war. The alliances were the triple alliance Germany, Austria, Hungary and Italy, if you think about it the point of having an alliance was to avoid having war. When you joined an alliance that meant you were obligated to help your other nations, and you could never betray them because you will get attacked. For some wives the government help them so they went out and looked for jobs the jobs they found were hard labor jobs that paid very little, and to still make sure they were being mothers to their children. If only people acted like human beings and if money and power was not important to them then so many of people would never have died. There was many cause of World War 1, some where domestically and internationally. There were many advantages and disadvantages to the war for example: peace treaties were mad between European countries, freedom, they felt safe. The bad things were returning soldiers lost there jobs when they returned, they debt, labor unrest, the women had taken over their jobs, English and French tensions grow. When the soldiers returned they felt they should have been praised by the government because they risked there lives and the lives of their families to go fight in a war between money and power. They were wrong they were not treated well at all, they returned home found out they had no more jobs, the women had pretty much taken over all the men jobs, the prices in foods and items went up. The men decided go on a strike (Winnipeg general strike), they felt that they lived happy lives before the war until they were to enlist in the war, these men fought hard to ensure the safety of their people and their country.
